Hot car death investigation: Police release affected child’s name, preliminary autopsy results

Mansfield police have released the name of the child who died after being left in a hot car last week, as well as some details of the case. When police arrived at 91 Marion Ave. around 3:15 p.m. June 26, they found 5-year-old Kyrie Brown in the arms of his mother, according to the news release. Kyrie was unresponsive, and life-saving measures were immediately started by both police and fire personnel.
