SHELBY, Ohio-Thirteen candidates applied for the middle school principal position at Shelby City Schools. Michael Browning, the superintendent, noted the applicants had diverse educational backgrounds and levels of experience. Andrew McFarland, previously the assistant principal at Shelby Middle School, was selected from this pool of candidates.
