AKRON, Ohio-On Thursday around 4:30 p.m., a shooting at Spring Hill Apartments in Akron injured two adults and one child. Multiple shooters were involved, with gunfire erupting when a vehicle entered the parking lot. Captain Michael Miller stated the shooting was not considered a drive-by, and over a dozen shell casings were found at the scene. Ronieka Jones, who works at the complex, reported seeing people shooting into a crowd via surveillance cameras. A nearby resident described the chaotic scene and her panic as she tried to protect her child.The injuries included gunfire wounds to the adults and possible glass-related injuries to the child. Residents expressed fear and distress over the incident.
