Elementary physical education (PE) teachers across Columbus City Schools laced up their sneakers and hit the court at South High School for a high-energy training session with the Columbus Crew. “Today is really meant to empower PE teachers,” said Community Relations Director at the Columbus Crew, Stephanie Cedeño. “[The Crew wants to] provide tools for them to put soccer in their PE classrooms with drills and skills that we know align with the state national standards. Skills that are tried and tested with our Crew coaches that we work with.”
