CSS Schools Work Together to Further Students Success in Literacy, Matriculation, and the Arts

MIFFLIN, Ohio-Mifflin High School students are partnering with Como Elementary School in the Reading Buddies program, fostering literacy and career exploration. High schoolers, like Jaylan Ash, gain experience working with children, potentially shaping future careers.

The program benefits both schools, enhancing literacy, reducing absenteeism, and fostering relationships. Beyond reading, Mifflin hosts Como for arts events, strengthening ties and cultural awareness. Principal Alli sees long-term benefits, highlighting Mifflin’s contributions to Como’s events.
