Darnell Jones, the man accused of killing his 13-year-old daughter, Kei’Mani Latigue, appeared in court Wednesday for a pretrial hearing. Jones, who also uses the surname Ogletree, remained bound to a wheelchair after being shot in March by a Columbus SWAT officer during his arrest. Judge Michael Goulding began the hearing by asking Jones how he was feeling, to which he replied, “I’m OK.”
