‘Summer in Cincy’ Kicks Off Free Citywide Youth-Focused Programs

CINCINNATI, Ohio-The Cincinnati Recreation Commission is introducing teen-focused programming this summer to address youth violence. Rec at Nite, a 10-week Saturday night series starting on June 8 at Lincoln Recreation Center, offers free activities like e-sports, pool parties, movies, and basketball tournaments for teens aged 12 to 17.

The kickoff event features a Silent Disc-Glo theme with a live DJ set and additional activities like art creation and swimming. Hirsch Recreation Center will also host programs starting on June 15. CRC Director Daniel Betts emphasizes creating a supportive environment for teens to explore interests, build confidence, and develop social skills.
