WEST CHESTER, Ohio-Three individuals, including a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old, and 19-year-old Vincent Lamont Bankhead Jr., were arrested for breaking into over 40 cars in hotel parking lots in West Chester. The juveniles were charged with receiving stolen property, obstructing official business, and possessing criminal tools, while Bankhead Jr. faced charges of obstructing official business and receiving stolen property.
West Chester Police Captain Seth Hagaman stated that the suspects targeted cars for money and handguns, resulting in numerous reports of broken windows. The incident unfolded when police responded to a car alarm at a hotel around 2:15 a.m., leading to a pursuit with the suspects. Despite fleeing into the woods, the individuals were apprehended with the assistance of a drone locating their heat signature.
