Dreams in the Making: How Local Support Is Cooking Up the Future of CCS Culinary Arts Students

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Students from Columbus Downtown High School’s Culinary Arts program received scholarships from Due Amici, a local restaurant, recognizing their academic and culinary achievements. Jeff Mathes, owner of Due Amici and a supporter of the school district, initiated the scholarships to support these aspiring chefs and help build a future workforce. Inspired by the program’s success, Mathes used the restaurant’s fundraising efforts to create these scholarships, aiding students in pursuing higher education in culinary arts.
