CINCINNATI, Ohio-In Avondale, Cincinnati, about 1,000 students will receive fully packed backpacks for the new school year thanks to a collaboration among several local ministries: Positive Force, Ennis Tait Ministries, Temple Sholom, and New Beginnings COTLG Avondale. This initiative aims to address youth violence in the community. The backpacks will be distributed at the 19th annual Back2School Carnival at Bengals Park, held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will also feature free food, games, music, and entertainment. Temple Sholom provided much of the funding for the program. Those interested in contributing or seeking more information can contact Bishop Ennis Tait.
