MOUNT HEALTHY, Ohio-Parents, staff, and community members gathered at St. Mark A.M.E. Zion Church in Mt. Healthy to express their concerns about the Mt. Healthy City School District (MHCSD). Many, including parent Keyone Allen, expressed a lack of trust in the district. Local reverend Angelo Brice, who organized the meeting, criticized the district’s leadership, pointing to the dismissal of 80 staff members and the resignation of nearly 100 others in March as major issues. Additionally, a recent state audit revealed the district could face a $90 million deficit by 2028, further alarming the community.
