April 15th, 2024-AVON, Ohio-In Avon, Ohio, an 18-year-old has tragically died after an apparent accident while playing a game of tag. The incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.
The victim approached a car, and as part of the game, attempted to jump onto the running board of the driver’s side. However, he fell backward off the vehicle, hitting his head on the roadway. Despite attempts at CPR by a bystander, the victim was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to a nearby hospital. Avon police are reconstructing the scene and investigating the incident.
