BOARDMAN , Ohio-The Boardman School Board appointed Tom Varley to fill a vacant seat previously held by Frank Zetts. Varley, who will serve until December 31, 2025, is the Director of Human Resources at Compco Industries and brings valuable business and HR experience to the board. A resident of Boardman for 12 years with four children in the district, Varley is involved in local youth programs and fundraising. He expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the school district’s success. Out of 20 applicants, 10 were interviewed for the position.
