Benjamin Logan Hires New Treasurer; Other Board Actions

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-The Board of Education approved a consulting contract followed by a treasurer contract for Leah Baker, who will initially serve as a consultant from June 10 to July 5, 2024, and officially assume the role of Treasurer from July 8, 2024, until July 31, 2026.

Baker brings extensive experience from Worthington City Schools, rising from Financial Support Specialist to a key figure in the finance department, and recently obtained her Treasurer’s License. She holds degrees in Business Administration and Science. The superintendent announced the resignation of a high school Family Consumer Science teacher due to personal reasons. Additionally, the board approved revised lunch prices for the 2024-2025 school year, including free reduced lunches for fiscal year 2025 and adjusted prices for milk and adult meals.
