LEWIS CENTER, Ohio-Monica Asher, principal of Olentangy Orange High School, returned to her duties on Tuesday after being placed on administrative leave for comments she made in an internal newsletter about the 2024 election. The Olentangy Local School District investigated the matter following Asher’s message, which acknowledged division and struggles related to the election. Asher apologized for the message, and although the district did not specify the disciplinary action taken, they stated that she understood the negative impact of her comments. Asher has been the principal since 2022.
