SHELBY, Ohio-A 14-year-old Shelby High School student, Graham Scott, was killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Liberty Township. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at 5550 State Route 96 around 7:00 p.m. The side-by-side vehicle rolled over, ejecting two passengers, with Scott, the driver, suffering serious injuries. Despite treatment at the scene by emergency responders and transport to Bucyrus Community Hospital, Scott later died from his injuries. Shelby City Schools Superintendent Michael Browning expressed condolences, acknowledging the profound impact of Scott’s death on the school community. Counseling services have been made available to students and staff during this difficult time.
