TOLEDO, Ohio-Early Friday morning, a crash in west Toledo resulted in two individuals being hospitalized. Emergency responders were called to the 4200 block of Monroe Street at approximately 2:15 a.m. Reports indicate that a driver lost control of their vehicle, veered off the road, and collided with a pole. The driver and a small child who was also in the vehicle were transported to the hospital, although the extent of their injuries is not yet known. The incident prompted the closure of Monroe Street for investigation, and approximately 1,600 people experienced a temporary power outage as a result of the crash, with most having power restored by 5:45 a.m.
