Marysville District Ramps up Recruitment, Bus Driver Shortage Leading to Late Drop Offs

< 1 min read

MARYSVILLE, Ohio-Central Ohio families have been facing transportation issues, particularly with Marysville Schools, which is struggling with a bus driver shortage affecting both district and private school routes. Over the weekend, Trinity Lutheran School notified parents that Marysville’s buses would be significantly delayed on September 9. Parents are advised to find alternative transportation if possible. Marysville Schools is actively recruiting more drivers and working to resolve the issue, but the shortage has led to extended bus times and increased stress for families. This problem was also discussed at a recent Board of Education meeting, with one parent describing it as a “transportation nightmare.”
