SOUTH POINT, Ohio-On Thursday, students at Burlington Elementary learned to make apple butter on the school lawn, thanks to Hatcher’s Greenhouse and Lynd’s Sunrise Farm. They participated in the process, starting the fire and adding ingredients, with fifth grader Sam Payne sharing his excitement about the experience. The apple butter they created is available for sale to the community.
