WESTLAKE Ohio-A 35-year-old suspect fled from North Olmsted police, declaring he “wasn’t going down without a fight.” Police later pursued his pickup truck until it was abandoned on an I-480 off-ramp, where they found a missing 16-year-old girl. Both claimed they were held at gunpoint by the driver after being picked up near JACK Cleveland Casino. The suspect, a known sex offender, was arrested, and the girl was handed over to county officials. He was found hiding with a pistol and multiple stolen firearms were discovered in his truck, taken from his father’s home. After being treated at a hospital, he threatened to shoot police and refused to return to jail.
