The 21st annual Wightman-Wieber Celebration Safety Fair and Kids Fun Festival is happening this Saturday at the Sandusky Bay Pavilion. From noon to 4 p.m., attendees can enjoy a range of activities including inflatables, food vendors, face painting, a caricaturist, and a live DJ. Over 50 local safety agencies will be present, offering educational experiences such as the Sandusky firefighters’ children’s safety house.
Free rides on the Goodtime I boat will be available from 1-3 p.m., and mascot characters like Minion, Spider-Man, Bluey, Chase, Marshall, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Olaf will be there for photos at specific times. Admission is by donation of a nonperishable item per person, with no smoking, vaping, or pets allowed, and all children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
