BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-Three teachers from Bowling Green Board of Education urged the board to maintain smaller class sizes, thanking Superintendent Francis Scruci for recognizing the importance of this approach, especially after a year of online learning.
They emphasized that smaller classes allowed for better support of students’ mental health needs and facilitated tailored instruction to address various learning levels, particularly in areas like reading. They highlighted the significance of smaller classes in identifying and meeting the needs of students, especially those with special needs, after the challenges posed by remote learning.
