< 1 min read

MARIETTA, Ohio-Marietta City Schools Board of Education approved a new policy prohibiting middle school students from using cellphones and smartwatches during school hours. The decision, made unanimously, aims to reduce distractions and address concerns about bullying, stress, and anxiety linked to technology use. Starting August 1, students will be required to store their devices in magnetically sealed pouches accessible only by teachers.
