DAYTON, Ohio-Police are investigating a suspicious package and letter sent to Lagonda Elementary School in Springfield. The school received a vague and unusual letter earlier in the day, which a school resource officer collected. Later, a package addressed to a former employee arrived, prompting the school to contact the police after the employee confirmed she was not expecting it. The Dayton Bomb Squad responded and determined the package was not explosive. The scene was cleared just before 7 p.m.
