BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-At their monthly meeting, the Bellefontaine Board of Education received a detailed back-to-school update from Superintendent Brad Hall and Director of Administrative Services Roger Ely. Hall reported that several substitute teachers have been hired to address coverage challenges for the 2024-25 school year. School hours for the upcoming year are:
– Bellefontaine High School: 7:20 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
– Bellefontaine Middle School: 7:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
– Bellefontaine Intermediate School: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
– Bellefontaine Elementary School: 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Classes for grades 1-9 begin on Wednesday, September 4th. Ely highlighted summer projects funded by ESSER and permanent improvement funds, including new LED lights at AcuSport Stadium, updated goalposts, and various improvements at Bellefontaine High School, such as new clocks with message boards and additional handicapped seating in the auditorium.
