PERRYSBURG, Ohio -A 7-year-old named Ethan Beer fell from a high dive at Perrysburg Municipal Pool on June 17, hitting the concrete instead of the water below. Ethan slipped off the diving board while attempting to grab a bar, resulting in a trip to the emergency room. Fortunately, he only suffered minor scratches on one ankle. His mother, Carrie Hall, captured the moment on video and rushed to his aid along with lifeguards and first responders. Despite the scare, Ethan escaped serious injury, prompting his mother to consider enrolling him in more swim lessons for safety and confidence in the water.
