A controversial visit by two police officers from Gratis, Ohio, to three Cincinnati schools for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) welfare checks has triggered backlash from local officials, who say the officers acted outside their jurisdiction while searching for unaccompanied migrant children placed with sponsors in the U.S.
