Nestor-Baker, who has served on the board for 25 years, cited her commitment to board service as a reason for her decision. Her resignation comes amid an ongoing Ohio Ethics Commission investigation into her voting conduct, specifically regarding decisions related to her daughter’s employment with the district. Nestor-Baker’s daughter, Caley Baker, is the principal of Hanby Elementary School and has held various positions within the district.
