More than 15,000 runners are expected to participate in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon this weekend, raising funds to support pediatric care at the hospital. The event, one of the Midwest’s largest races, raises more than $1 million annually for pediatric care. This year marks its highest turnout since the COVID-19 pandemic. The marathon route winds through Columbus, Bexley, Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington, with thousands of volunteers and families lining the streets to cheer on the runners.
