The field, used by Normandy, Valley Forge, and St. Ignatius High Schools, faces issues like leaning bleachers, bent fences, and damaged lights. With the high school football season starting soon, Parma City Schools are assessing the damage and working with engineering firms to determine repairs. Normandy High School freshman quarterback Omir Taylor, eagerly anticipating his first game, may have to wait if the field isn’t ready by August 23.
