BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-The Bellefontaine High School Music Department showcased its excellence at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) State Contest. The BHS Symphonic Choir, directed by Brice Henry, achieved a Superior rating for the ninth consecutive year.
Meanwhile, the BHS Symphonic Band, led by Heather Rivon, earned an Excellent rating. Both groups advanced to the state level after receiving Superior ratings at the District 11 Adjudicated Event. Additionally, the Bellefontaine High School Orchestra, directed by Laura Mitchell, attained a Superior rating at the State Contest in March.
