CAMBRIDGE ,Ohio-The Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative has awarded scholarships to high school seniors. Six students received Children of Member Scholarships, ranging from $600 to $1,100, based on their scholastic record, personal achievement, and interview skills.
Additionally, two students received Touchstone Energy Achievement Scholarships worth $750 each, recognizing their commitment to pursuing a college education despite personal challenges. Another student received the GMEC Scholarship in Honor of Jerry Kackley, valued at $750, for demonstrating strength in community service and leadership. The cooperative serves over 17,000 consumers across several counties in Ohio.
