< 1 min read

COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio Department of Public Safety has appointed Kelli Cary as the new coordinator for the Governor’s Human Trafficking Task Force and hired Kathy Chen as a Special Population Anti-Trafficking Specialist. Cary, returning to Ohio from AncoraTN in Tennessee, brings extensive experience combating human trafficking through roles at RAHAB Ministries, Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center, and the Salvation Army. Chen focuses on disrupting illicit massage businesses, which often disguise human trafficking activities. Since January, Chen has been rebuilding connections with local task forces and service providers to enhance collaboration among law enforcement, victim services, and culturally specific support groups in combating these crimes.
