The Deerfield Township fire station on Montgomery Road is the 14th station in Ohio to install a Safe Haven Baby Box. The box allows parents to anonymously surrender a newborn. A new baby box means a lot to the Deerfield Township trustees, who happen to all be moms. The trustee who spearheaded the project said that it was a unanimous yes.
