How central Ohio’s public schools are responding to federal DEI demands

President Donald Trump’s two-week deadline to end DEI in schools passed last Friday, but many Ohio public schools and universities are hesitating to make big changes. The Department of Education released a “Dear Colleague” letter on Feb. 14 giving public school districts and universities two weeks to stop any programs teaching about systemic racism or broadly pertaining to DEI.
