FIRELAND, Ohio-At Firelands Local School District in Lorain County’s Henrietta Township, classes were disrupted when an individual dressed as Bigfoot entered the campus, prompting a lockdown. The person in the costume was seen running past classroom windows, causing concern among students and staff. However, they never gained entry into any school building.
The school’s superintendent emphasized the seriousness of the situation despite its seemingly playful nature. Law enforcement later revealed that the person in the costume was a parent participating in a prank, and no charges have been filed yet, pending review by the prosecutor’s office.
