BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-The Superintendent of Bowling Green City Schools, Francis Scruci, along with others, condemned the negative tactics employed by opponents of the school building issue during a recent board of education meeting.
Scruci highlighted instances of name-calling, personal attacks, anonymous letters and calls, egging of homes, and harassment directed at school board members, administration, and campaign committee members. He called out individuals for engaging in inappropriate behavior, including a school board candidate for making a sexual post on social media about a levy campaign member. Scruci also criticized the placement of campaign signs directed at his home as “bullying tactics” employed by anti-levy candidates.
