DAYTON, Ohio-Antawan Benson, 23, and Javen Conner, 19, have been arrested in connection with the death of 12-year-old Isabellas Amor-Carlos, who was shot and killed while sleeping at her home on August 23. Both men face charges of discharging a firearm and improper discharge of a firearm. Initial charges for weapons violations and murder were not filed. On August 27, Dayton police reported that approximately 37 rifle rounds were fired at multiple homes on West Fairview Avenue, and they do not believe Isabellas’ home was the intended target.
