The New Franklin Police Department held its annual Shop with a Cop event Dec. 7 with seven officers taking 27 children shopping. New Franklin Police Chief Daniel Bickett said the event was a great success and officers always look forward to it.
Department officials also thanked volunteers, Manchester High School students who assisted and bus drivers from Manchester who transported the children.
