AKRON, Ohio-In December 2023, Akron Public Schools introduced its Blueprint for Excellence Strategic Plan, aimed at preparing all APS students for college, careers, and life through innovative educational initiatives. The plan focuses on four main pillars: fostering a culture of safety and belonging, enhancing academic achievement, ensuring operational excellence, and promoting partnerships, family, and community engagement. Quarterly meetings are held to review progress in these areas and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
