An after-school hotspot in one Ohio community aims to point teens toward better futures. There are about 700 middle and high school students who are members of the Urbana Youth Center. The facility provides transportation from school and serves a hot meal and snacks daily, all at no charge. “Doing as much on a shoestring as we can, and I think we’re getting a lot done, but there’s certainly more that we could do if we had access to more funding,” said Justin Weller, the center’s executive director and founder.
