The Defiance City Schools Board of Education passed a resolution during its Wednesday meeting acknowledging student Griffin Combs for his high test score in the American Legion’s government test. Combs, a sophomore at Defiance High School and son of Neil and Nicole Combs of Defiance, is among the top three in the state of Ohio out of some 65,000 students who took the American Legion’s Americanism and government test.
