OTTAWA HILLS, Ohio-Ottawa Hills school district voters have passed a new 12.9-mill property tax levy, projected to generate $2.343 million annually. Initially planned for last year, the levy will now cost property owners $452 per $100,000 in property valuation, with collection starting in 2025. The district faced setbacks when an error in the ballot language, submitted by the former treasurer, led to its exclusion from the November 2023 ballot. Despite challenges, the levy’s approval comes after budget cuts due to the delay.
