CMSD Gets Back to School with New Phone Policy, Tools for Parents

< 1 min read

CLEVELAND, Ohio-Cleveland Metropolitan School District is starting the school year with a new cell phone policy requiring students to lock up their devices for the entire day to promote a more focused learning environment. Additionally, the district is introducing a new online grade book program called PowerSchool, which allows parents to monitor their children’s grades and feedback in real-time. While reactions to the cell phone ban are mixed among parents, the district is hopeful that these changes will enhance the educational experience.
