The Springfield City School District’s High School Transition Program aims to prepare students with disabilities to enter the workforce, and one senior already has plans after she graduates. The district highlighted this program during October’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month, which aims to educate people about disability employment issues and bring light to the contributions of workers with disabilities.
