COLUMBUS, Ohio-Columbus City Schools students will return to classrooms on August 21. Superintendent Dr. Angela Chapman reported that addressing staffing shortages has been a major focus over the summer, with efforts to ensure all classrooms are staffed. Regarding the bus driver shortage, Chapman noted significant adjustments to the service model and routes, confirming that there are enough drivers to cover all routes for the 2024-25 school year.
