ORANGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio-The Mapleton Local Schools board of education approved a new two-year agreement with the Mapleton Teachers’ Association. The agreement includes a $500 stipend for teachers in April, a two-percent base salary increase for the next year, adjustments to insurance deductibles, and a spousal agreement for new employees, according to Superintendent Scott Smith.
