Five children between the ages of 4 and 12 have been placed in the custody of Montgomery County Children’s Services after police found them living without food or electricity inside a boarded-up property in Dayton, Ohio. Dayton police officers were called to the property in the 3500 block of Delphos Avenue on the afternoon of October 1 to conduct a welfare check. According to police, the property had previously been identified as a “nuisance abated” location.
