A Sharon woman faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment after police say an 8-year-old she was supposed to be babysitting was found wandering alone on a four-lane freeway. Sharon City Police arrested Cheyenne Brown, 26, of Ravine Place, after the child, identified only as J.R. due to his age, was spotted by an officer on the Shenango Valley Freeway/South Sharpsville Avenue bridge.
