A 66-year-old man has pleaded guilty to shooting a 10-year-old boy at a home on Cleveland’s West Side this past February. George Zatik Jr. was convicted of one count of child endangering and one count of assault. The child, whose name has not been released, survived his injuries.
The shooting happened at a home in the 5100 block of Gifford Ave. around 3 p.m. on Feb. 19. This is in the city’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood.
